5th Digital Rajasthan Conclave organized virtually by FICCI Rajasthan in association with STPI

FICCI Rajasthan State Council in association with Software Technology Parks of India, Government of India organized the virtual conference - 5th edition of Digital Rajasthan Conclave today. The theme for the webinar was Accelerating Resilience through Digitalization.
Addressing the webinar, Dr Omkar Rai, Director General, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) said, “Resilience though digitization should be mantra for India’s journey in times to come.” According to him, the status of India’s revenue in software product market at global level according to 2019-20 assessment was close to 9 Billion Dollar out of 511 Billion Dollar and therefore to capitalize on India’s IT Service industry and its workforce talent, NPSP 2019 Policy aspired to make India a software product nation and take the revenue in the sector between 70-80 Billion Dollar by 2025 and during COVID lockdown all the initiatives in this direction got lot of acceleration.
Addressing the house, Mr. Dilip Chenoy, Secretary General, FICCI said, “COVID has actually led to digital transformation in most organizations with contactless delivery, contactless services and social distancing. Rajasthan Government during lockdown did a great job with online passes, sharing information online, digital distribution of services, school going online and more. According to him, the real challenge is to ensure that every citizen gets benefit from the services offered by the government and that we need collaborative and collective leadership amongst all the stakeholders to one by one identify the areas where we need to digitize, increase digitization and expand digitization and therefore go for coordinated actions in each sector.”
Chairing the session on “Accelerating Resilience through Digitalization”, Dr Ajay Data, Chairman, FICCI Rajasthan Sub-committee on Entrepreneurship and Founder & CEO, Data Ingenious Global Ltd shared that just in 6 months span, COVID has made all of us learn and adopt different technologies that we had never learnt before and post covid all the sectors will have a huge moment of demand, supply and disruption. He also mentioned that we are already getting into a huge transformational time in terms of technology and should work parallel in securing digital boundaries from attacks and misuse.
Another panel discussion on “Leveraging emerging technologies to position Rajasthan as Crafts Hub of the world” saw participation of Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chairman, TiE Global; Mr. Nagaraja Prakasam, Mentor, Angel investor & Partner Acumen Fund; Dr Toolika Gupta, Director, Indian Institute of Crafts & Design; Dr Shikha Jain, Director, Dronah; Ms. Abha Agrawal, Co-founder, DesiHangover; Ms. Umang Shridhar, Founder, KhaDigi and Mr. Vijay Sharma, Co-founder & CEO, Fabriclore Retail Pvt Ltd.
