New Education Policy to have lesser regulation, tighter control - Dr K Kasturirangan, Chairperson, NEP 2019 Drafting Committee

NEW DELHI, 28 November 2019: Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji today asserted the need to have a human touch and personal guide in the current education system.

Speaking at a 'Fireside Chat' with Mr T V Mohandas Pai, during the 15th FICCI Higher Education Summit, Gurudev said, "Even today, personal guide is essential in education. On the role of educators, Gurudev added that in the mass education process we need human value without which we will not be developed. He said, "The youth is full of energy and if you don?t keep them in the right direction it will become self-destructive."

"Creating a sense of belongingness and sense of responsibility with young people we can dream of giving a better future for the coming generation," said Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji.
