The primary objective of this FICCI - IIT Madras dialogue is to introduce the scope of IITs in imparting high-quality education and discuss the learnings of the success of IIT Madras in Zanzibar to explore opening of new branches of IITs and other Indian engineering and technical institutions across the African region. FICCI has invited Mr. Dammu Ravi, Secretary (Economic Relations), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and H.E. Mr. Ermindo Augusto Ferreira, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to India and Dean of the African Group Heads of Missions in India to deliver Special Address and share their vision and guidance for this important mission.
