On 7th April 1931, Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, addressed the 4th Annual General Meeting of FICCI. To commemorate this historic occasion, FICCI is committed to celebrate its Foundation Day on this day every year. This year, on 7th April, the Foundation Day will be held at Taj Mahal, Colaba, Mumbai.
The FICCI Foundation Day is a moment of gratitude as well as a salute to the rich heritage of our entrepreneurs who have shaped and contributed to the business and economic landscape of the country over the years. As you are aware, FICCI celebrated its first Foundation Day last year in Mumbai, in which we felicitated our Past Presidents from 1927 till 1959, acknowledging their indelible contributions and the enduring legacy.
Taking this tradition forward, the Second Foundation Day Celebration scheduled for 7th April 2025, will witness felicitation of our Past Presidents from 1960 till 1993. On this Foundation Day, we would like to honour them by presenting a token of our appreciation.
Apart from felicitation ceremony, we will have a fireside chat with Mr Ram Charan noted Global Business Advisor & Author and also Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Commerce and Industry Minister has been requested to grace the occasion.
