2nd FICCI Cold Chain Summit
Aug 06, 2025 New Delhi
Overview

India's cold chain sector is undergoing rapid growth, driven by rising demand for safe food storage, pharmaceutical distribution and supply chain efficiency. The market reached USD 11.53 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 27% between 2025 and 2033, reflecting increasing investments in temperature-controlled infrastructure.

Despite this growth, India currently faces a post harvest loss of nearly 20–30% in perishable goods due to inadequate cold storage facilities. Additionally, with the pharmaceutical market projected to reach USD 130 billion by 2030, the need for robust cold chain networks is greater than ever.

The FICCI Cold Chain Summit 2025 aims to bring together key stakeholders to address critical gaps in India's cold chain infrastructure. The summit will focus on innovations, policy interventions and sustainable practices that can strengthen food security, healthcare resilience and overall economic growth. It will also serve as a platform to explore best practices and cutting-edge technologies that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of cold supply chains. Through knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships the summit aspires to build a more resilient, efficient and environmentally responsible cold chain ecosystem for the future.
