Event Overview & Highlights
FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council organized a Learning Mission on Manufacturing Excellence on 4 September 2026, with visits to Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), Sriperumbudur, and the Saint-Gobain World Glass Complex.
The Learning Mission provided industry representatives with first-hand exposure to leading manufacturing practices, operational excellence, sustainability, digital transformation, and EHS practices through company briefings and guided plant visits.
At Saint-Gobain, participants attended sessions on sustainability and digital transformation, followed by an EHS induction and guided line visit at F5. An interactive session with Saint-Gobain leaders provided further insights into manufacturing operations and best practices.
The programme facilitated practical knowledge sharing and peer learning, enabling participants to understand approaches adopted by leading manufacturing organizations to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, safety, and competitiveness.
