Event Overview & Highlights
FICCI was pleased to organise the Cyprus–India Business Forum in partnership with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI), alongside the visit of H.E. Mr Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, to Mumbai.
A key highlight of the Forum was the exchange of multiple Memoranda of Understanding between leading institutions and industry bodies from India and Cyprus, aimed at enhancing business partnerships, institutional cooperation, investment facilitation, and sectoral collaboration. The Forum reaffirmed the strong potential for deeper collaboration between the two countries in building resilient supply chains, foster innovation-led growth, and strengthen long-term economic and strategic partnerships.
The Cyprus–India Business Forum highlighted the growing strategic importance of India–Cyprus economic relations at a time when global supply chains, connectivity frameworks, and investment partnerships are being redefined. With Cyprus positioned at the crossroads of Europe, West Asia, and Africa, and India emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, both countries are well placed to build deeper partnerships across trade, technology, shipping, financial services, logistics, renewable energy, and innovation.
