A high-powered Odisha delegation, led by Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, visited the UAE from 8–12 September 2026 to explore investment and economic partnerships with leading global investors and institutions. FICCI was the Industry Partner for the delegation visit and associated activities. 

Odisha, backed by progressive policies, robust infrastructure and a strong industrial base, offers significant investment opportunities across metals, advanced manufacturing, chemicals, electronics, food processing, textiles, tourism and green energy. The visit aimed to strengthen Odisha–UAE economic engagement, build on major investment opportunities, and position Odisha as a preferred destination for global investors.

Odisha Investors' Meet was organized on the concluding day of the delegation visit, i.e. 11th September at Hotel Anantara, Dubai. The event was attended by around 400 business leaders, investors and members of the UAE business community. The event provided a direct platform for Odisha to present its investment proposition and for global businesses to explore opportunities to establish or expand their presence in the State.

The high impact visit resulted in proposed investments of ₹ 243162 crore and employment potential of 618725, as the State intensified its global pitch for capital, technology, manufacturing partnerships and access to international markets. 24  Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and  Investment Intents (IIFs) were signed, following 52 One on One investor meetings and Round Table engagements during the visit.
